Christmas Fever

It's Christmas Season - did you know Christmas is 2 -1/2 weeks long? We had 13 different events, including News Years Eve over the holidays. Lots of snow, lots of time with family and friends and lots of day trips to grandparents houses. A great couple of weeks. Now we just need a bigger house to hold all of our loot.

First on the list, Christmas at G and G Wolters.
The stockings are alway a favorite event. There are over 20 stockings, and they're all jumbo sized.

A: Daddy I don't think this is for you.

Roman doesn't want any wrapping paper debris to soil his clothes.

E: Now I can carry Addy anywhere
A: Jackpot!
Taking picture before the Christmas Eve Service......

The good.....

And the sublime.....

Overall, the collection, (see slideshow at right) is a pretty accurate portrayal.

Christmas morning at home - what a concept!

Unstuffing the stockings which had been hung with care

E: We're an equal opportunity family. Girls and boys both get cars.

R: Yes!

A: Christmas morning in my favorite chair

R: I see a road trip in my future.

Most openings are team events, as lurking present opening helpers abound.

(Both of these were Eden's)

The lurkers helped Daddy too.

A: Here.

R: Now I can build Eden and Addison a new house.

R: See that wasn't very hard....

Christmas at G and G Smith's

R: A big one...

E: One big present, usually means two.

A: And usually three....

A: The excitement of presents is something I enjoy - internally.

R: I'm very passionate about my music.
(Roman comandeered Elise's Hannah Montana guitar for much of the day)

Grandma Smith's 4 girls with their Grandma-made gear.

L to R: Elise, Eden, Lena, Addison

(A.k.a. the look alikes: Ang, Kylene, Luke, Pam)

A: I finally got to meet Daddy's friend Pete. We have dubbed him "Big Pete"

Big Pete is lots of fun.

We took a trip to Grand Haven to meet some friends and played at the YMCA kids area.

Peek and slide with Eden's feet waiting in the wings.

E: Ready or not...

E: Geronimo!

A: I'm not tall enough to climb the maze up into the slide tower. In other news, any of you 200 lb 3-year olds are safe to use the equipment.

Another bounty of presents reaped.

Happy New Year. See you soon.
