Happy Days

Roman and Eden are almost 6 months old. They sleep from 8 PM to 6 or 7AM. They are starting to eat solid food, experimenting with sitting up and love to play, laugh and smile. They are getting more fun everyday.

"I am a very happy boy. I love mornings, eating and sucking my left thumb. I also like to look left. Not a fan of looking right. Daddy is concerned that this may be indicative of my political affiliations. It's not, but we'll let him think that."

"I'm a happy girl! I love my exersaucer, eating, and playing with my links. I have also recently discovered that I have feet! I lift up my legs, stare at them and then slam them down on my crib mattress, making a surprising amount of noise. I have also developed a strong set of lungs to announce that I am awake in the morning. Mommy and Daddy can save money and unplug their alarm clocks thanks to me. Daddy must be proud of my energy efficiency."

"Ok, look, let me explain this again. This lizard hangs here so we can strike it with one of our mobile appendages. When struck, the momentum activates a small microswitch attached to the extension arm which, when depressed, activates the mystical array of music and the lights. It's fairly rudimentary as far as toys go."

"Let's play a guessing game. Is that slop on my face Rice, Barley, or Oatmeal?

Yeah, I don't know either."

E: "You think your thumb tastes good? You should try my hand."

R: "Mmm. Is that watermelon.

E:"Boysenberry"

"Happy Mothers Day Mommy! We love you!"

"Ok, so I'm clean. Big whup. What are you looking at?"

"Does this towel make my cheeks look fat?"
