Vacation Elation

Welcome to my summer getaway place. Stunning views, warm water, a Mastercraft and level ground for my saucer. I spent over 10 days straight here in late July and I just loved it. We're 8 months old now, weigh about 19+ pounds and are enjoying life to the fullest.

E: I love it up here too. Just thinking about being at the lake makes my mouth water.

If you have trouble on the water, just call the West Lake Coast Guard floatilla. Swift and vigilant, they will protect you and your watercraft against unwanted intruders. And yes, the shade canopy and goofy hats are mandatory accessories.

R: Closer, closer... right... there. Now I can drool right onto the camera lens.

I've got my mind set on you.

E: We decided to have Mama and Daddy take us to our very first Coast Guard Festival parade. Roman discovered he doesn't like loud noises such as police cars, fire trucks, motorcycles or marching bands. He didn't have too great of a time. I couldn't get enough of it.

E: I can sit up all by myself! This allows me to make a much larger mess because my arms are free to throw things.

R: I can sit too, but sometimes I still use the pillow. I have a distinct disadvantage in that I am very top heavy. If my head gets out of alignment with my center of gravity, look out. I'm like a half-weeble. I wobble, but sometimes I do fall down. I have learned though, that if I soak my left shirt lapel with drool, I can balance myself quite well.

E: I like to help daddy pay bills. I am the shredder. We've got to keep that personal information secure.
E: Mama has dreamed of this day since she knew she was pregnant with us - putting bows in my hair is the greatest thing ever. We just need to get Roman a Bam Bam costume and Halloween is taken care of.

R: I am the man of million smiles. I call this one "Flat-jaw surprise". Look for my book of self portrait photos to come out in the fall.

I love to look at the new pictures! I loved even more seeing them in person recently, and if I haven't said "love" enough - I love Eden's hair in the bow! So cute. I wish I could do that with Aidan's.
