Recent Developments

R: It has been so busy around here it's making my head spin. Addison is now over a month old and we're all beginning to get into a new routine. Mama is busy with the baby which means Daddy gets up with us in the morning and has to come rescue our pacifiers in the night. Eden and I are almost 17 months. Eden is running around everywhere and I am starting to shown strong improvements in my walking too. Daddy has been slacking on the blog lately, and has been reminded of that by several people, so he decided to do a big one this time to catch you up on the recent action.
..
Recent Development #1 - Addison is not so tiny anymore.
..
A: I am beginning to put on my Smith baby chunk. Milk is good.
E: OK, Addison, now listen. If you want more food you need to throw a tantrum and then point at the fridge. That's how the milk comes out. That grunting business you're doing just doesn't work. Trust me.
R: You call those cheeks? You're way out of your league here.
A: I might smile for you Daddy, but not while the camera is out.

A: Introductions are in order. Everyone, this is Baa. Close relative to Bear and Bunny. Baa will likely become a major component of my sleeping routine and a month to month measurement benchmark. I am already almost as big as Baa. Also, on an unrelated note, Baa has already been stolen from my pack n play by an unspecified villain in pigtails.

Mama and baby Addy who clearly has no time for posing. There are black against white blobs to stare at on the wall.

Recent Development #2 - Roman was (briefly) visited by the Straight Hair Fairy

R: Seriously, I don't know what happened. All of sudden one day my hair was straight. I look totally different. As you can see, Eden was very concerned.

R: The SH Fairy was reportedly taken out of commission. Early indicators suggest that she fell victim to the infamous Captain Humidity.
R: The weight of the curls is so overbearing, this is far as I can lift my head.

Recent Development #3 - We took our first trip to the zoo and held the public unveiling of our newest family purchase.....
Behold! The triple stroller. Marvel at the wheeled wonder. Bask in its tri-canopied glory.
Passersby: Look kids, crazy people with 3 babies and a giant conveyance device.
E: So here's the thing zoo volunteer lady, I'm the outgoing one and I don't want to touch that snake either so go ahead and move along.
As it turns out 3 kids are pretty heavy so Daddy did most of the pushing.
Mental note: Remember to thank zoo designer for incorporating all those hills.
Roman got a chance to reunite with some of his alpaca brethren.
..
Recent Development #4 - We've picked up a bunch of miscellaneous new skills.
..
R: I'm on my way to the world of the walking.
E: 264... 265... 266...I've been doing 300 sit ups a day. Feel the burn.
R: I'm taking night school classes in welding.
E: Daddy wore shorts for the first time this year. Do not look directly into the legs.
E: See, we're not too big for this, what could go wrong?
R: I'm dialing 9-1-1 .
The Rockford bobsled team in training.
Look for the biography feature film this summer - "Drool Runnings"
R: I baptize you in the name of the Father...
E: On the fifth day, Livia made us BLUEBERRY pancakes. And it was good.
R: And now, I shall perform my impression of a spring-action sprinkler.
Bluey is going to be requesting hazard pay very soon.

R: As long as you maintain the center of gravity within the middle third of the mass such things are possible. It's really quite simple. (Roman actually did this).

Finally, an interest in books which extends beyond complete destruction.

E: First I arrange the library, then I read.
